Chapter 3 discusses the use of computer software and its applications. There are many educational ways to use various computer software applications in an educational, yet fun manor. There have been many games made for young students to not only adapt them to technology, but to open up their mind educationaly as well. There are many programs I have enjoyed, but the ones that have helped all of us the most are the applications such as Microsoft Word and all of the other Microsoft Office applications. They have made computer use that much more easier and fun. All in all, computer software has changed the face of computer use in teaching today.
Wow, I always thought I knew everything about Microsoft Word, but I guess not. I never knew how many things you could really do with it, between formatting, wordart, and adding pictures to the text, my mind was about to explode. I have no idea how I figured out most of the practice test questions, but I won't sell myself short, I know a good amount. The best thing I learned using Word was how to make columns in the text and especially how to surround text with a picture. Instead of just placing a picture, you can wrap the words around it to make it look a lot better.
Well, even though it may seem like forever until this semester is over, at least its football season! I really hope with all these new coaches, especially new offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher, we are able to make a run at the ACC championship in Jacksonville. It didn't look too good losing to Clemson in the first game, but hey, what can ya do? Bobby Bowden is a good coach, and as soon as our offense understands the playbook, we will be alright. It may not be until next year, though.
