Technology is something that has always interested me. From playing video games to just wondering how a television works has always sparked my thought on technology. When I was 15, I had a new hobby of car stereo installation and its something that I still tend to once in a while but now since I have my license and what not I am interested in cars and pretty much how they work, but technology is always something I am constantly keeping up with.
In this class I hope to familiarize with Microsoft Word and other computer applications for my future in teaching. I have been working on computers, surfing the web and typing up papers, for a long time, but I have never gotten too involved with the programs that we plan on working with this semester.
My learning style is pretty similar to most peoples in the fact that I like to do things on my own. I don't really like directions, but I use them when I need to. For the most part, I like to open up a program that I am new to and explore it myself.

I totally agree.
I don't like directions either but you are right that sometimes we need them. I like them more when I ask for them than when people voluntarily give me them.
